November 12, 2020 - One month from today, we will finish out this hybrid fall semester while approaching the end of this eventful and difficult year. Even with the recent good news of a potential and effective vaccine—and new therapeutics recently approved—this COVID-19 pandemic has reached a new level of emergency throughout New Mexico and beyond. Here in , we are averaging over 37 new cases per day, and our infection rate is at an almost unsustainable 1.23 average; well over the of 1.05 or less. Yesterday, there reported statewide, and our hospitals are filling up quickly with new patients.
